Broken


You are so gorgeous,
You hold a beauty that is timeless,
Shining on the outside...glowing,
Breaking hearts...because you're loveless.

Broken on the inside...you hate yourself,
Covering the pain in sins of the flesh,
Garnering love in the wrong places with rock bottom esteem ,
Turning a pretty face to ashes and scarring your body with carnal schemes.
