There was a moment...
There was a chance...
You and I might have romanced...

I had an epiphany,
I felt some desire,
You had me...
I was inspired.

Another path you chose to follow,
One you regret...perhaps you don't know that yet,
I thought it would work...
I wanted to give it a try...

But I can't compete,
With the amorous showering of others...
You must figure out your own heart...
Before committing to another.

I sit here and wait, My heart breaking with each minute passing, I wonder where you are... And why you have changed. You used to be different, Something in you has gone astray, I wonder where you are... And if you love me no more. I say to myself that nothing is wrong, But why lie when I feel it in my soul, I wonder where you are... And dream of the things you used to say.
