Desert Snow

White as a wedding day dress,
Covering the land's ugly mess,
Clean as a freshly washed sheet,
Bringing a new life to the Sun's past deeds,
An event that is as rare as hen's teeth,
The scorching hot sands are cooled underneath,
Burying stains of dryness and drought beneath the sleet,
Bringing Winter's wonders to a land that has only known heat.
