A diamond ring, it ain't no thing,
Gotta be big, 'cause this ain't no fling.
My love's conditional, better be no flaws,
My rack ain't cheap to your grabby paws.
You ain't rich, but I'm a princess,
Gimme that rock, or you're gonna be in a mess.
Can you afford it, I don't know,
But gold is my God...when you throw my head down on the pillow.
A carat at least, but bigger is better,
No diamond, no love, just a "Dear John" letter.
