Finding It


When you have it...do you know?
Caring voice and love given in vain,
Words and sentences written in pain,
Giving it up, for reasons unknown.

Finding another or finding yourself,
I love you but you don't give back,
The suffering still goes on,
Love doesn't end, it just continues without.

When you get it do you know?
Or do you shun it for other things not known,
Finding hearts in other places,
Giving it up, after you have found your other soul.

I sit here and wait, My heart breaking with each minute passing, I wonder where you are... And why you have changed. You used to be different, Something in you has gone astray, I wonder where you are... And if you love me no more. I say to myself that nothing is wrong, But why lie when I feel it in my soul, I wonder where you are... And dream of the things you used to say. I've been down this road before, It all feels the same, I wonder where you are... And if I'm the one to blame.
