In My Dreams


There you are lying beside me,
You whisper in my ear that you want me,
I look into your eyes, losing myself in your love.

We lay in each other's arms and talk about us,
You kiss me on my mouth, and I taste your sweet lips,
I tell you that I love you, as tears fall down the pillow.

You make love to me, and I feel your body inside and out,
The love we share is unspoken, as we make our bodies one,
I never want it to end, as you touch my body with loving hands.

We fall asleep joined in each other's embrace,
This life we lead is one of love's true charms,
I love you so much as I hear you sleep.

I wake up from my world of love, into one of nightmare,
It was only a dream for you have gone,
I live my life now without.

Dreams are the worst when love has left,
I don't live in this place anymore,
It was so real, that I wonder if waking up...is going to sleep

I sit here and wait, My heart breaking with each minute passing, I wonder where you are... And why you have changed. You used to be different, Something in you has gone astray, I wonder where you are... And if you love me no more. I say to myself that nothing is wrong, But why lie when I feel it in my soul, I wonder where you are... And dream of the things you used to say. I've been down this road before, It all feels the same, I wonder where you are... And if I'm the one to blame.
