Just Another Day
You have them too...days when God seems to piss on only you,
One day at a time I suppose,
Holding on to the dream before the razor sings its cutting repose,
Just tuck in behind the happy face, safe behind a mask of hidden pain.
No one seems to know...no on seems to care,
Begging behind the face paint of a clown,
Pent up inside...they don't see it,
Absorbed with their own emotion-forged universe...to worry about it.

Pent up inside...they don't see it,
Absorbed with their own emotion-forged universe...to worry about it.
Lonely and desperate for a loving touch
Someone who cares about the sadness of hunger,
Everyone wants something first,
Trying to remember when I received in return.
Feeling sorry for myself today...secretly we all do it,
Wishing that they all really knew,
"Things will pick up" is what they say to you...
Only thing is...it seems like they don't,
Just another day...to sit around and mope.
