Stainless Banner?
White, blue and red,
She flies for freedom's stead...
She flies for freedom's stead...
Atop slavery’s hellish bed the banner floats,
Flag of terror...slavery...both...
Damn the butternut and the gray,
Proclaiming Union and marching off so gay,
Ripping down the rebel flag in a self-righteous way...
Covering the bondage...in lands of their own,
Spreading the lie under red, white and blue sewn...
Bound in border states loyal,
In the name of Union the "darkies" still toil...
Set some free in '63,
Chained to the blue, white and red in Missouri and Kentucky...
Blame it on a Draft...
New York burned...black bodies hung,
Kill and cut them all...for cheer and for fun...
Fire the colored orphanage...watch it glow,
A Union whose true motives...never meant to be known.

Curse the banner of Confederate slavery,
Feed them into cannons for less of a fee...
Covering slavery with stripes of red and white...
War almost won, Congress's votes spun,
Are they really free...
Will they truly obtain liberty...trading in one flag to be chained to Old Glory?
